Lean Quality Production (LQP) is our Production Department for light to medium metal fabricated parts. We provide our customers with world class quality parts with ISO 9001 Quality Systems. Our customer base includes signature, branded companies in construction, banking, food processing, transportation, public service, and cellular communication industries.
The process starts with your RFQ. All RFQ's are reviewed on a weekly basis by a team of cross-functional experts who do the following:
- Review the CAD drawing (or some other drawing format) and assess Will-Burt's capability to produce it
- Estimate the timing and cost of any tooling
- Review both the total production quantities and delivery dates. Feedback is communicated within 5 – 10 days
The Following Is Required To Start The Process:
- Drawings and 3-D Part Models
- AutoDesk Inventor
- Pro Engineer
- AutoCAD
- Formats, such as .tiff, .dxf, .stp, .iges, etc.
- Revision Level
- Quantity Required (EAU)
- Quality Requirements (If PPAP's are required)
- Finishing Requirements
- Packaging Requirements
